Electra Moscato Rosé is not a traditional rosé, it’s a rosé for sweet wine enthusiasts! This sweet rosé version of Electra Moscato is also made in a frizzante style, featuring flavors of strawberry and dragonfruit dancing in delicate bubbles for a crisp, refreshing finish.
While most moscatos are made from Muscat of Alexandria, like Electra Moscato, Electra Moscato Rosé is made from Orange Muscat and Muscat Canelli grapes, with the addition of Black Muscat for its beautiful hue and berry flavors. These varietals are distinctive and rare (Black Muscat), with unparalleled flavors and aromas.
To make Electra Moscato Rosé, a combination of free run and pressed juice is fermented for more than a month at a low temperature, after which it is chilled, sterile filtered and bottled. This process preserves its natural sweetness and slight fizz for a sweet rosé with lush ripe flavors.
Pair this sweet rosé with fresh fruits, creamy desserts, salads, brunch foods, charcuterie and so much more. It's only 5.5% alcohol, so it can also be turned into sorbets and slushies! To make sorbet/a slushy: pour into a covered container or sealable bag, freeze overnight, then spoon into glassware.
