Red Electra Moscato is a sweet red wine made in a frizzante style that’s bubbling with fruity aromas and flavors of ripe cherry, juicy red berries, sweet peach and tart pomegranate.
While most moscatos are made from Muscat of Alexandria, like Electra Moscato, Red Electra Moscato is made from Orange Muscat and Muscat Canelli grapes, with the addition of Black Muscat for its garnet-red hue and cherry-berry flavors. These varietals are distinctive and rare (Black Muscat), with unparalleled flavors and aromas.
To make Red Electra Moscato, a combination of free run and pressed juice is fermented for more than a month at a low temperature, after which it is chilled, sterile filtered and bottled. This process preserves its natural sweetness and slight fizz for a frizzante red wine with lush ripe flavors.
Pair this sweet red wine with fresh fruits, chocolates, cheeses, spicy foods, barbecue, tacos and so much more. Red Electra Moscato is only 5.5% alcohol, so it can also be turned into sorbets and slushies! To make sorbet/a slushy: pour into a covered container or sealable bag, freeze overnight, then spoon into glassware.
